ask the Imam as or the Ansaar, what is the judgment about someone who follows Imam as and acknowledges as mahdi, but the person does not pray. and what is the judgment about a Muslim who does not believe in the Mahdi but who follows a normal sect and is a Muslim, but does not pray, will he go to hell or not?

[Follow the Truth]

This person goes to Hell if he didn't pray and die without starting it. There are words of Allah to confirm it by Quran:“What has landed you in Hell?”They will reply, “We were not of those who prayed,nor did we feed the poor" ( Sura 74, ayat 44 ). It doesn't matter he recognized Imam Mahdi and followed him or not. If a person doesn't keep the prayer described by Allah in the Book, he goes to Hell. The words of Allah don't change.
